Morgan McKinley are delighted to bring this exciting new opportunity to market. This is a permanent post and plays a significant role in developing and implementing AI governance framework within this highly successful organisation.

This is a largely collaborative role where you will be dealing with the wider organisation in addition to working closely with relevant stakeholders within your own Business Unit.

Your role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, developing ethical guidelines for the use of AI, and developing processes for managing the risks associated with AI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AI technologies, as well as experience in governance and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AI governance framework based on guidelines from various compliance and legal organisations, Previous experience working as a Data scientist required.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to AI.
• Develop ethical guidelines for the use of AI based on company guidelines.
• Develop processes for managing the risks associated with AI and data science.
• Conduct risk assessments of AI and data science systems
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on the ethical use of AI
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in AI and governance (across US and Europe)
• Provide analysis on impact and trajectory of legislation
• Represent relevant business unit at AI and ML governance forums within the wider organisation and seek out external references

• Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in AI or Data Science or related fields
• Experience in governance, risk management, and ethics
• Strong understanding of AI technologies
• Good experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional certifications in AI ethics, data privacy, or regulatory compliance will be a plus.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ethical AI guidelines.
